L2 Best Mound Performer Named Friday, November 7th , 2025 The League 2 announced today that Renato Balcazar has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2025. The Stade starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 14-7 record. In his award-winning season Balcazar crafted a 2.08 ERA in 186.1 innings with 144 strikeouts and 50 walks. Opposing batters hit .206 against him in his 32 starts. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 16. Rey Alvarado of the Vancouver Wild finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Yusuf O'Croly of the Stade Maples finished third.
