Irate Veolásquez Suspended 4 Games Monday, August 25th , 2025 Axemen left fielder Héctor Veolásquez will begin a 4-game suspension today for a confrontation with an umpire in a recent Cornfield-Nashville clash. The league suspended him for "inappropriate and aggressive actions" toward an umpire. Veolásquez profusely argued a third strike call and was eventually ejected by the home plate umpire. Thus far this season in 102 games, Veolásquez is batting .283 with 7 home runs, 44 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 100 hits in 353 at-bats. |
