Las Vegas-Dayton Brawl, Balay and Glynn Suspended Monday, September 29th , 2025 After an intense confrontation, both the Luck Ascot Balay and the Grizzlies Samuel Glynn were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Las Vegas-Dayton game. Ascot Balay will miss 4 games, while Samuel Glynn was suspended for 2 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Ascot Balay commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Balay is hitting .258 so far this season with 61 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 152 hits including 18 home runs, 38 walks and .322 OBP. Looking at his pitching stats this season, Glynn has made 60 relief appearances, pitched 79.2 innings and fashioned a 9-3 record with a 2.03 ERA. He has recorded 13 saves, struck out 76 and allowed opposing clubs to hit .189 when he is on the hill. |
