World Championship Game 1 Goes to Brooklyn, Thanks to Koche
When the games really matter, the Brooklyn Knights put on their best show, beating the Stade Maples by a final score of 7-0. Nick Koche went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Brooklyn now leads Stade 1-0 in the best-of-7 affair.

Koche had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth to put Brooklyn in front, 4-0. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run off Stade pitcher Evan Williams.

"I really like what we did out there today," Koche said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Neutral Fields in Brooklyn.
